KCSPCA Walk-In Vaccine Clinics
The Kent County SPCA holds Vaccine Clinics at our shelter in Camden, DE as well as various other locations around the state according to the schedule. Our clinics are held at least twice a month to ensure all animals are kept current on needed vaccines.
Although our warehouse is a large space, we cannot fit a large number of people and animals inside safely. Parents should try if at all possible not to bring children and other family members to these clinics. It is very hard to keep track of your pets and children at the same time and we do not want animals or young children getting hurt by passing cars.
Dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in a carrier. If your dog does not get along with other dogs, please leave it in your vehicle and we will have the vet come to the car.
Please also remember to dress for the weather; we hold clinics rain or shine…or snow!
We accept cash, personal check or Visa / MC as forms of payment.
Services & Fees:
Rabies vaccinations - $15 * Required by law for all dogs and cats 6 months and older! - Innoculation for Rabies may be given as early as 12 weeks of age.
First rabies vaccination will be valid for 1 year. Subsequent rabies vaccinations will be validated for 3 years if proof of ANY past rabies vaccination is provided. Please bring your pet’s previous paperwork with you, even if you had it done with us before. We have no way to look up your pet’s records.
Other vaccinations:
FVRCP - $15 Feline Panoleukopenia, Rhinovirus, Calicivirus - cat needs to be at least 8 weeks old.
If over 6 months old when first vaccinated, will need one booster in approx 3 weeks
If under 6 months old when first vaccinated, will need two boosters approx 3 weeks apart
DA2PP - $15 Canine Distemper, Adenovirus, Parvo, Parainfluenza - dog needs to be at least 8 weeks old
If over 6 months old when first vaccinated, will need one booster in approx 3 weeks
If under 6 months old when first vaccinated, will need two boosters approx 3 weeks apart
Bordatella - $15 Canine Bordatella / Kennel Cough - required by boarding kennels & groomers - dog needs to be at least 9 weeks old
Microchipping - $25 - We use the Home Again chip and service. The fee includes the chipping and registration for the first year.
