Putting your pet to sleep 

The Kent County SPCA recognizes that the hardest part of pet guardianship is the day you have to decide to let your beloved pet cross Rainbow Bridge. 

We offer euthanasia services for the public by appointment.  Please call 302-698-3006 (option 2 at the main menu) if you need to schedule this service for your pet.  There are many options, and you will be asked when you call what service you will need. You will also be asked whether you plan on being present for the euthanasia. 

The appointments that we have for private euthanasia are (Monday through Thursday):

Owner not Present:  1pm, 1:15pm, 1:30pm, 1:45pm and 2:00pm

Owner present:  2pm, 2:30pm, 3pm
