KCSPCA Tuesday Wellness Clinics

The KCSPCA will be holding rabies & wellness clinics Tuesday evenings from 4 pm - 7 pm by appointment only. The shelter will remain closed to the public for adoptions and turn-ins. We have added additional services to these clinics that are not available at the weekend clinics (exams, tests, nail trims, Frontline flea & tick preventative, Tri-Heart Plus heartworm preventative) and as always at the lowest cost possible.

These differ slightly in that they are not a walk-in format. You must make a reservation to attend and of course there is no fee to make a reservation. Time and space is limited, but they will occur every Tuesday evening an the prices and service are the same as our weekend clinics.

We understand that our weekend open call clinics get very busy and that some may not be able to attend weekend clinics because of personal schedules. Well here is a weekday clinic just for you!

Services & Fees:

• Vaccinations:
  
  Rabies vaccinations - $13 - pet needs to be at least 12 weeks old (includes the $3 mandatory State of Delaware surcharge)
  
  • First rabies vaccination will be valid for 1 year. Subsequent rabies vaccinations an/or if previously vaccinated (vaccination certificate / documentation required - please bring copy even if it is expired) will be valid for 3 years.
• Other vaccinations: - $13
  • FVRCP - Feline Panoleukopenia, Rhinovirus, Calicivirus - cat needs to be at least 8 weeks old.
    • If over 6 months old when first vaccinated, will need one booster in approx 3 weeks
    • If under 6 months old when first vaccinated, will need two boosters approx 3weeks apart
  • DA2PP - Canine Distemper, Adenovirus, Parvo, Parainfluenza - dog needs to be at least 8 weeks old
    • If over 6 months old when first vaccinated, will need one booster in approx 3 weeks
    • If under 6 months old when first vaccinated, will need two boosters approx 3weeks apart
  • Bordatella - Canine Bordatella / Kennel Cough - required by boarding kennels & groomers - dog need to be at least 9 weeks old
• Microchipping - $20 - We use the Home Again chip and service. The fee includes the chipping and registration. you may create & update your profile on the Home Again website to include photos, vet info, addition contacts, and multiple phone numbers.
