Kent County Dog License Purchase

Only ONE dog per transaction (form and shopping cart). This is a 2 step process; you MUST submit a form and then check out in the shopping cart for each dog license that you need to purchase.

All dog licenses expire on Dec 31 regardless of the month that they are purchased. Your dog MUST have a current rabies vaccination and you must include the tag#, date of vaccination, vaccination exp. date, and the name of the veterinarian that performed the rabies vaccination. KCSPCA is acceptable veterinarian if dog was vaccinated at our shelter.

All vaccination information WILL be VERIFIED prior to issuing you a license. All dogs in Delaware are required by law to have current rabies vaccinations and licenses.

Once your information is verified your order will be processed and the license will be issued. Your license will be mailed to you. You will receive a paper license as well as a steel tag for your dog's collar. Submitting this form is NOT a license. Your dog is NOT licensed until your information is validated and processed.

If there is a problem with the information that you supply, you will be contacted by the shelter. An explanation of the problem(s) will be explained. Incomplete and/or inaccurate information will result in a rejection of your license request and you will have to resubmit another request. We can NOT make corrections to your submission. It is your responsibility to insure that the information you provide is correct.

In order to purchase a 3yr dog license, your rabies vaccination must expire AFTER March 1^st of the year through which you are attempting to purchase your license.

Applicant: If you are applying for a license for a sterilized dog, one that requires your dog to be spayed or neutered, you're answer of "yes" above and submitting this form will serve as an electronic signature to the following affidavit: "I hereby verify that the dog has been sterilized and that I make this statement subject to the criminal penalties (up to 1 year incarceration and a $2,300 fine) under 11 Del.C § 877 (relating to the submission of false information to the State)".
