If you have lost your pet or you have found someone's pet, please contact the shelter. Our ACO's (Animal Control Officers) diligently pick up stray pets 24 hours a day. Members of the community also find stray pets and either bring them to our shelter or keep them at their home and notify us. We know how difficult and stressful it is to have your beloved pet go missing and we are here to help reunite you.

If you have lost your pet please contact us or submit a Lost Pet Report with pertinent information: date your pet went missing, what your pet looks like, did it have a collar, the area where your pet was lost, and photos would be extremely helpful. Include medical needs/conditions and anything that may help locate and identify your missing pet.

If you have found a pet and decide to keep it at your home, please contact us or submit a Found Pet Report with us so that we can have that information. Knowing that you have someone's beloved pet in a safe location helps us and the owner. We will make a record of the pet that you are holding and be able to use it to match the missing pet to its owner in the event we are contacted. We will need to know: when you found it, what the animal looks like, area where it was found, if it had a collar, etc. Photos are always extremely helpful as well.

You can browse through the animal profiles that are in a holding status to see if we may have your pet at our shelter. Animals that have a holding status are NOT adoptable yet. Please don't call the shelter about your interest in adopting these animals. Remember, these strays that we are holding are somebody's beloved pet, and we are trying very hard to get them returned to their home. If we are unsuccessful in locating their owner, we will then change the status to adoptable, and they will appear in our adoptable animals section. Your understanding and compassion with regard to an animal's status is appreciated and allows us to dedicate our time & resources in a manner that is best for the animals.
