About the Kent County SPCA
The Kent County SPCA (KCSPCA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that operates solely from private donations. We hold the State of Delaware contract for statewide animal control. Our ACO's (animal control officers) are available 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week throughout the entire state to investigate claims of animal cruelty, abuse and/or neglect. Their powers are granted by the state of Delaware and they uphold the state’s animal cruelty laws.
The KCSPCA seeks forever homes for dogs, cats, and exotics (birds, rabbits, reptiles, etc) as well as farm animals. We are ALWAYS in need of donations as we are a non-profit organization. Donations of money, volunteer time, foster time, food, medicine, cleaning products, blankets, & towels are greatly appreciated by the animals as well as the staff.
